Native to Hooper, Utah, Dr. Will Bates attended Weber State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Minor in Chemistry. He pursued his love of helping people by attending Marquette University School of Dentistry to earn his doctorate in dental surgery. After completing dental school, Dr. Bates received approval to continue his training with the U.S. Navy in an Advanced Education Program in Norfolk, Virginia. He received expert clinical training in all dental specialties during this one-year program. In addition, Dr. Bates has held positions as director of dental services for a clinic in Washington state and department head for a dental clinic for the Navy.
